Izmir YEIP Meeting Took Place
Local Equality Monitoring Platform meeting took place in Izmir. The meeting was attended by the representatives of non-governmental organizations working in the field of gender equality, local administrations, universities and city council. In the meeting, advocacy and monitoring plans prepared by the Platform for Izmir were updated and new targets were identified. Local Equality Monitoring Platforms that are active with the support of CEID prepare and implement monitoring and advocacy plans in line with regional priorities and their own characteristics.

Ankara YEIP Meeting Took Place
We met with the Local Equality Monitoring Platform (YEIP) in Ankara on September 19, 2022. The Platform that is formed through the active participation of non-governmental organizations, bar associations, municipalities and universities carries out monitoring and advocacy activities on the axis of gender equality in many areas of urban life.

The first “Local Coordinators Meeting” was held
The first “Local Coordinators Meeting” was held. CEID, which successfully completed the first phase of the Enhancement of Participatory Democracy in Turkey: Monitoring Gender Equality last year, met with the local coordinators of Adana, Ankara, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Izmir and Trabzon in the second phase of the project that it started as of January 2020.
CEİDizler Project started with the meeting of Expert Working Group on Indicators and Executive Board
Following the successful completion of the Project on Enhancement of Participatory Democracy in Turkey: Monitoring Gender Equality, which was carried out by the Association for Monitoring Gender Equality (CEİD) between 1 March 2017 and 28 February 2019, the CEİDizler Project, which is the second phase of this project, was also funded by the European Union. CEİDizler Project started with the meeting of the Expert Working Group on Indicators and Executive Board on January 2, 2020.
