The Gender Equality Monitoring Group comprising representatives from gender-sensitive and rights-based civil society organizations, professional organizations, academics, and equality units of local governments plays an active role in supporting the process of National Equality Monitoring Plan and annual reporting, promoting the approach of monitoring gender with indicators, ensuring its sustainability, and in undertaking nation-wide advocacy of this approach.
