The first “Local Coordinators Meeting” was held

CEID continues its project activities. CEID, which successfully completed the first phase of the Enhancement of Participatory Democracy in Turkey: Monitoring Gender Equality last year, met with the local coordinators of Adana, Ankara, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Izmir and Trabzon in the second phase of the project that it started as of January 2020.

In the online meeting attended by CEID Board members, the problems faced by women and disadvantaged groups during the Covid-19 pandemic, the approaches of local governments and municipalities to these problems, and the solutions they produce were discussed, as well as project activities.
