About the Competition

This competition is carried out within the scope of the Enhancement of Participatory Democracy in Turkey: Monitoring Gender Equality Project Phase II (shortly known as CEİDizler) which is financed by the European Union.

 

Purpose of the Competition

The infographic competition is organized with the aim of contributing to raise general awareness and sensitivity around gender equality and developing advocacy activities based on gender data.

 

Where you can particapate

All over Turkey

*Please kindly note that you should be enrolled at a university based in Turkey at the time of application. You should submit your student certificate later when asked. 

 

Who can participate?

All university students enrolled at undergraduate and/or graduate programmes

 

Deadline for application

31 October 2022 Time: 23.59pm

 

Awards

After the evaluation which will be made by the independent jury members, the winner will be awarded with an iPad wheras the candidates who will come second and third places will be awarded with iPad Mini.

 

Competition Participation Rules and Other Information

  • At least one of the 17 thematic areas in the CEİM Data Portal must be used during the design process of the infographic.
  • Participation to the infographic competition is free of charge.
  • Only individual applications will be accepted for the competition, group/team applications will not be accepted.
  • Applicants who are entitled to receive awards with the first, second and third places will transfer the property rights of the infographics to the Gender Equality Monitoring Association.
  • Applicants should not apply to other competitions with the same work. It is not possible to participate in the competition with works previously used on other platforms. In case of quoting from other sources, it is obligatory to cite the source used.
  • Images to be used in infographics should not violate copyrights and should be original.
  • Application summary and Poster features: The application consists of two components. An explanatory summary of maximum 500 words should be submitted regarding the purpose of the infographic presented within the scope of the application summary. Together with this summary, an infographic poster prepared in vertical size, in one of the PDF, PPTX, JPG, TIFF or PNG formats, high resolution and in a creative format using different colours, design lines and images should be attached. The message given over the infographic should be clear, understandable and cacthy to the reader.
  • How to Submit Your Application: Applications should be sent digitally to yarisma@ceid.org.tr. Applicant's name, surname and infographic poster should be written in the subject section of the e-mail.
