In order to support gender equality monitoring activities on scientific grounds, Indicator-Based Gender Equality Monitoring (IBGEM) training will be given to non-governmental organizations and relevant units of local governments in 9 Project’ Provinces Training materials will be created to be used in training, covering topics such as basic concepts in gender equality, strategies to cope with inequalities, gender-sensitive rights-based monitoring, budgeting, and planning. Indicator-Based Gender Equality Monitoring (IBGEM) Training of Trainers will be organized by making use of these training materials. Indicator-Based Gender Equality Monitoring (IBGEM) Training of Trainers aims to both strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations to monitor gender equality in the medium and long term and equip the trainers with skills to deliver the content of basic areas of gender equality policies, as well as technical knowledge in monitoring. Indicator-Based Gender Equality Monitoring (IBGEM) Training will be given in 10 project provinces by the trained trainers and online training will be organized to increase awareness in this field. At the end of this training, it is aimed to spread gender equality monitoring and reporting activities at the local level.
